CORTLANDT, NY – State Police are trying to identify two men who broke into a home on Hillcrest Avenue in the Town of Cortlandt on October 12. They were caught on home security surveillance entering the residence.

"CARMEL – Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports that a woman from Brewster has been arrested for burglarizing a home in Garrison.
Sheriff Smith said the suspect turned herself in to the Sheriff’s Office just one day after the crime, after her image was captured on a video surveillance system at the home and was posted on the Internet.
Berit O. Okay, aged 52, of Brewster, is charged with burglarizing a residence on Avery Road in Philipstown on the evening of Thursday, June 9th, when she allegedly entered the home through an unlocked door and stole six rings and an I-Pad device from an upstairs bedroom."

HIGHLAND – The New York State Police, Highland BCI arrested 48-year-old Lorrie Lent, of Marlboro, for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (a class D felony) and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (a class A misdemeanor).
On July 13, 2016, the New York State Police – Highland BCI concluded their investigation into the alleged theft of over $3,000 in cash from a Town of Plattekill residence.
Lorrie Lent, a house cleaner for the victim, was caught on video recording taking cash from an envelope in the victim’s bedroom, according to police.
It is also alleged Lent damaged the surveillance equipment which captured her actions during the theft.

Police are hoping new surveillance photos will help them catch the suspect who robbed a Chase Bank in Haverstraw. Police say a man walked into the bank on West Ramapo Road Tuesday afternoon. They say he stole an undisclosed amount of cash before running off.

"Hudson Valley police are asking for assistance in finding some alleged criminals who they say were attempting to break into cars. They’re also reminding residents to keep their car doors locked.
The Kingston Police Department released the following footage that they say shows two thieves going from car door handle to car door handle at Barmann Apartment Complex at around 4:40am."
